Deepcool Killer Whale Review
DeepCool's Killer Whale heatsink is a top-down cooler built around two critical things. It has a hefty solid copper heat spreader (base) onto which six 6mm diameter heatpipes have been soldered, and a large and potentially very quiet 48mm thick 120mm PWM fan that spins at 1000-1800RPM. The fan moves approximately 78CFM, while generating at most 53.5 dBA and at least a whisper quiet 34.8 dBA. The Killer Whale stands 140mm tall and weighs a hefty 900 grams, but if you were to replace the fan with a more compact 120mm model that height could be as little as 92mm + fan thickness.

DeepCool Killer Whale CPU Cooler Review
If you look at it, you might be surprised by its innovative and exotic style. Just think about it… Even the company’s name refers to the exact word – ‘Cool’ as its label. Add an extra ‘er’ suffix and voila: you’ve just made cool-er! Contrary to other heatsinks, this product doesn’t look familiar nor is it common-shaped. Thus, I must admit that we are very excited to test this Killer Whale as to appraise its value. Fasten your seat belts, grab a couple of fishing rods and let’s go for whale adventures, coming straight at you through Deep Cool!

Killer Whale de DeepCool
Du c?té des performances et des nuisances sonores, il nous est difficile de statuer. Globalement, les performances sont bonnes, mais le ventilateur est bruyant, quoique le bruit est plut?t grave, et les vibrations absolument pas atténuées, ce qui est très étonnant. Surtout que ces dernières étaient présentes sur les deux modèles, et que le petit cuivre n'a pas eu droit à son démontage du ventilateur.

DEEPCOOL KILLER WHALE CPU COOLER REVIEW
DEEPCOOL, with their latest coolers offering top tier performance, is really looking to be a worthy adversary in the cpu cooling industry. The Killer Whale really shined during testing and beat out most of the coolers that I had on hand to test against it. Not only did cool my AMD 965 with ease, but it also looked awesome in the process especially in the dark with the built in blue LED fan. Something to take note of however is the coolers physical dimensions and weight. It stands at 143mm and weights approximately 900grams. This is a heavy cooler and bulky when the fan is installed.
